Concerned about Duplicate Content? Good News for Affiliates!

    Tuesday, May 8th, 2007

It seems like people are becoming more and more concerned about duplicate content and the potential repercussions from the powers that be (you know, the search engines!). If it is a concern for you, you’ll be pleased to hear that we will be allowing the modification (on approval) of the affiliate articles we provide you.

Side Note: I do not want anyone to fear that if they publish our articles as is there is going to be a problem. On the contrary, if you publish a variety of content and include original content in your mix, you will be just fine. Whether you publish our articles unedited or decide to edit, is completely up to you. We just want the option available for those who want it.

We all need great content, but if worries about duplicate content have prevented you from publishing the articles on Affiliate Command Post…please don’t let it stop you anymore. If you need a program to help you create more original articles, you might want to check out the free program at DupeFreePro.

But before you run off, please do read our guidelines. Affiliates who do not follow the guidelines open themselves up to suspension from the program…so take a few minutes to get acquainted.

    Article Modification Guidelines:

    1. You may change titles, rearrange paragraphs, rewrite sentences or anything you need to make the article a more original piece of content.
    2. You may also make modifications that you think are appropriate to your target market’s needs. For example, if your audience is people involved in a candle sales business, you can address these people in the article.
    3. Do not publish your article until your modifications receive approval. Simply save a copy of your modified articles and open a support ticket with a request to publish the articles. Paste in the modified articles and we will review them. Note: If you’re going to modify a few articles, you might want to do them all at once and send them in one ticket…that will save everyone a bit of time.
    4. You will receive a reply to your ticket within 1 (or at most 2) business day(s) as to whether or not your changes are approved. As long as the original message (reworded, of course) of the article is still there and you didn’t butcher the grammar and spelling :-) , the approval process will be simple.
    5. Affiliates who show they are responsible with this privilege may, at our discretion, be allowed to bypass the approval process and simply publish their modified articles without prior approval.

This offer is now available for any of the articles you find on Affiliate Command Post, but I’ll post some links to articles below:

For consideration of affiliates, please use this privilege wisely. This is an experimental offer, but if all goes well, we will continue to offer it long into the future. (Note: If we rescind the program, any articles that have already received approval will not be affected).

I welcome your thoughts and questions…feel free to post your comments below. If you have any other ideas, needs or wants, post those too!

Press Release Software Coming Tomorrow - Articles Available Now

    Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007

I emailed affiliate just a moment ago (and that may be why you’re here!) about an important Press Release Profits update. I will be announcing a new piece of software to the extensive course that will take students through the specific steps of writing their release and the software will format the release perfectly. I am going to post and email more details about that tomorrow morning.

For now, I thought I’d give you a couple of short and sweet articles that you can share with your readers to warm them up about publicity. You can email them, post them on your blog or whatever you’d like.

    The articles are entitled:

    • Don’t I Need A Publicist to Get Any Worthwhile Publicity?
    • What’s the Difference Between Writing Articles & Press Releases?
